Most punctures are repairable and most people replace the tyre anyway because nobody told them otherwise. If the damage is in the tread area and the tyre has not been driven flat, it can usually be repaired from the inside and put back into service. If it cannot be saved, we will say so rather than patch something that is going to fail on the M6 out to Camps Bay.

What this covers
Repaired from the inside
The tyre comes off the rim so the damage can be seen and patched from the inside. An outside-only plug is a get-you-home fix, not a repair.
Mobile puncture call-outs
Flat in a parking garage or outside the flat. We come to the car rather than you limping to us on a space-saver.
We tell you when it cannot be saved
Sidewall damage, a cut across the shoulder, or a tyre that has been run flat cannot be repaired safely. You will hear that from us before any money changes hands.
Balanced afterwards
A repaired wheel gets rebalanced before it goes back on, because the patch and the removed weight both change the balance.
Spare wheels checked
While the wheel is off, we will check that the spare is actually inflated. Most are not.
